Getting Started with Bitcoin and Crypto Currencies

Although many people may have heard of bitcoin, very few people actually know how to make money with it.  We would like to show you how you can get started with bitcoin and assist you in know what are the basics of bitcoin and how to avoid amateur mistakes. 

First of all, a great way to approach bitcoin is to treat is like a savings account.  Personally although I'm someone that has made a lot of money over the years, saving money is always something that I've struggled.  There just isn't that much fun in saving for a rainy day... until now!

So what is coinbase?, coinbase is a user friendly exchange that allows you can purchase your first Bitcoin online.  Because bitcoin is fractional you can get started with bitcoin with less than $1000.  Actually, as long as you can purchase more than $1.99 worth of bitcoin you're good to go.

Let's say for example that one bitcoin was worth $19,400 and you wanted to purchase $100 worth.  you would simple divide $100 by $19,400 and come up with .00515464.  This is the amount of bitcoin that you would own. 

As the price of bitcoin fluctuates the value of your .00515464 will vary.  However, the amount of bitcoin that you own will not change and there are no costs for holding the bitcoin in your wallet and maintaining your position.  For this reason, many people are gravitating towards the crypto currency markets and regularly putting $100-$500 into bitcoin on a regular basis.
